Health Program

AIWVC has dedicated itself to providing all of its students a full medical check-up upon admission into the school. As health is one of the critical components to our well-being, we are striving to develop a health program that goes beyond just providing the initial health check-ups. Our objective is to be able to set up a complete program that provides regular health checks and has the facilities and necessary tools and resources to be able to attend to any expected and unexpected health issues arise.

Education Program

Education is a key to all success. It is through the seeking of knowledge that we remove ignorance, and thus create the opportunity for innovation, independence, and betterment. Our education program is one of the core components of the AIWVC goals. We are consistently striving to provide our students with more supplies and resources, along with more teachers, all qualified to teach their respective grade levels. This can be difficult when education for women in parts of Bangladesh has made it difficult for young girls to grow up and become teachers. We hope that through providing girls with the education they need and rightly deserve, we will be able to bring about a change in the educational and societal circumstances in Bangladesh, giving everyone, regardless of state or condition, the opportunity to gain knowledge and develop a base foundation of education upon which they can build their futures.

Vocational Training

After gaining a foundation upon which they can grow their futures, the young women are provided with vocational training, which provides them with the hands-on training and skill development to be able to get jobs in the most available fields, and opens up the doors to possibilities for further education and development. AIWVC is always in search of more skills training opportunities that can be provided to the girls, so that their opportunities can be widespread. We hope that with the help of donors and sponsors, we will be able to fund further projects related to fields these young women find inviting and interesting.

Al Ihsan Women Vocational Center is the women’s chapter of Al Ihsan Social Development Center (AISDC), a non-profit organization to support orphan, needy children and underprivileged Muslim women in Bangladesh.

The number of homeless and needy women in Bangladesh is increasing exponentially due to various natural disasters such as floods, cyclones, tornadoes and river erosions. Furthermore, streets are becoming increasingly unsafe and insecure for women. As such, these needy women have little to no access to schooling or opportunity to pursue their learning. AIWVC finds it essential to provide education and understanding about Islam for them, and to teach them how to develop their self-esteem and maintain their daily lives with dignity.
