We currently have an ongoing relationship providing services for the Kitasoo Band in the remote village of Klemtu. Band member Darren Edgar can speak to our commitment to providing quality, professional services to the village with an awareness of the unique challenges of working in such a remote community. We also have an ongoing relationship with the Nuu-chah-nulth tribal council both on a personal and professional level and are currently looking for further opportunities to strengthen our relationship.
We have worked with or for several other bands over the past 30 years including Sechelt, Kyuquot, Guilford Island, Fort Ware, Kingcome Inlet, Zebellos, and Prince Rupert.
We are always looking to work with the aboriginal community to build sustainable economic development for First Nations people. To provide the hands on training for the skills needed to succeed in the power line industry. We want to grow together through a mutual trust and respect working towards the achievement of our common goals. There is currently rapid growth coupled with the future investment into the utility infrastructure. This is why we feel now is the time to start the recruitment and training within the aboriginal community so that the youth of today are prepared to seize the opportunity of the tomorrow. We also want to be able to provide opportunity in the here and now to all those with the shared passion and drive to take on the challenge.
